TEN PIECES . COSMIC RUNNER
When you mix driving house, disco, sun, cocktails and Bondi sets rolling in you get a proper good Australian fashion week show. Ten Pieces revisited the most famous photographed pool, minus the h2O, at Bondi and it still worked the second time round.
The inspiration coming from further afield than Bondi Beach; paying homage to Italio disco club Baio degli and it's seminal Dj Daniele Baldelli.
“The brands love of music, artistic expression and creativity is evident in Cosmic Runner,” comments Maurice Terzini, “Inspired by the attitude and styling of the disco freak eras gone by I’ve drawn on own experiences as a teen in Italy during the late 70’s.” ( Electric Collective PR)
The brands strong street vibe is mixed with sports aesthetic and a introduction of detailed denim with hidden pickets and functional straps. Continuing pushing the brand with an collaboration with Ever Australia, shearling shoe maker, creating bespoke boots and sandals for the runway. The monochrome palette was broken up by a bold red luxe sports track look and a longer flowing dress in a light blue.
As always the unisex offering can be styled to include any combination of pieces to create an individual look, with the new season emphasis on to taking you from day duties to the dance floor.
